These Terms govern your use of Pocket.
They establish the rules for agency accounts, subscription and transaction fees, user content, travel bookings, and account termination during beta and beyond.
01
Agency Accounts
These Terms form an agreement between you and Pocket Travel Platform Inc. (“Pocket” or “Pocket TP”). By creating an account or using pockettp.tech, creator storefronts, beta services, or related applications, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 and legally capable of operating the activities you conduct through Pocket. You are responsible for account credentials, custom domains, team access, customer relationships, and determining which seller-of-travel, licensing, tax, insurance, registration, and consumer-protection rules apply to your agency.
- Provide accurate and current information.
- Protect passwords, two-factor codes, and recovery credentials.
- Use team access rather than sharing accounts.
- Notify Pocket promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
- Complete identity, business, payment, or compliance checks required for specific features.
Pocket is currently in beta. Features may change, be limited, or require data migration. Keep independent copies of important customer, financial, travel, and content records.
02
Pricing & Fees
Pocket uses scaled subscription and transaction fees. Current standard transaction fees are Starter 15%, Growth 10%, Pro 5%, and Master 2%. Subscription prices and included features are shown on the Plans page. Fees may be deducted from successfully processed bookings or charged through an approved payment provider.
- Paid plans renew monthly until changed or canceled.
- You authorize Pocket and its processors to charge applicable subscriptions, transaction fees, taxes, and authorized amounts.
- Plan changes may be immediate or apply to the next billing cycle and may involve prorations.
- Payment-processing, travel-supplier, foreign-exchange, dispute, refund, or government charges may apply separately.
- Promotional and beta terms may include separate eligibility or duration limits.
Payout timing is subject to settlement, identity verification, reserves, disputes, fraud review, provider rules, and law. Pocket may delay, offset, reverse, or withhold funds when reasonably necessary to correct transactions or address negative balances and legal obligations.
03
User Content
You retain ownership of media and content uploaded through your storefront, Journal, Media Publisher, or other tools. You grant Pocket a non-exclusive license to host, process, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service.
You must have rights to everything you upload and must not publish misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, harmful, or copyrighted material without authorization. You are responsible for sponsorship disclosures, claims, reviews, pricing, and customer-facing representations.
AI-generated output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review it before publishing or relying on it. Do not treat AI output as official legal, tax, financial, medical, safety, immigration, visa, or supplier advice.
- Do not upload malware or bypass security controls.
- Do not scrape, reverse engineer, impersonate, manipulate reviews, send spam, or use Pocket for unlawful activity.
- Do not use customer information outside authorized business purposes.
- Do not use Media Publisher or AI tools for fraud, infringement, harassment, or prohibited automated decisions.
Pocket’s software, brand, logo, documentation, workflows, and platform intellectual property remain owned by Pocket or its licensors.
04
Travel Bookings
Pocket provides software infrastructure for independent travel agency hosts. Unless explicitly stated for a specific transaction, Pocket is not your employer, partner, franchise, insurer, fiduciary, travel supplier, or professional legal, tax, financial, immigration, safety, or medical advisor.
Bookings through Pocket storefronts are subject to terms, availability, cancellation rules, and service conditions set by airlines, accommodations, activity providers, payment processors, and other third-party suppliers. Creators must accurately disclose price, inclusions, exclusions, risks, refund rules, and supplier terms.
- Verify availability and price before confirmation.
- Charge customers only through approved payment flows.
- Obtain permission before submitting traveler information.
- Provide required cancellation, refund, insurance, entry, health, and safety disclosures.
- Maintain appropriate licenses, registrations, supplier agreements, and business records.
- Direct travelers to official government, embassy, airline, and supplier sources for changing requirements.
Travel carries risks including delays, cancellation, illness, injury, weather, political events, supplier failure, and border restrictions. Pocket does not guarantee third-party availability, safety, legality, pricing, or performance.
05
Account Termination
You may stop using Pocket and close your account through available controls or by contacting us. Pocket may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, fraud risk, security threats, legal requirements, harm, or service discontinuation.
On termination, access rights end, but payment, ownership, confidentiality, record-retention, disclaimer, liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions survive where appropriate.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BETA SERVICES, AI OUTPUT, INTEGRATIONS, AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” POCKET DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY LEGALLY BE DISCLAIMED. POCKET IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES. Aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of US$100 or amounts paid directly to Pocket during the preceding 12 months, except where law prohibits that limitation.
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Pocket against third-party claims arising from your agency, content, customer relationships, legal violations, or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by Pocket’s unlawful conduct.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Pocket Travel Platform Inc. is incorporated, subject to mandatory consumer law. Parties should first attempt good-faith informal resolution. Questions may be submitted through our Contact page.
We may update these Terms prospectively as the beta and services evolve. If you disagree with a material change, stop using the affected service before it takes effect.
