Pocket TP Selected for Elevate eCommerce North Accelerator Program

Two weeks after joining AltaLab, Pocket TP is heading to Toronto for its next accelerator.

Pocket Travel Platform Inc. (Pocket TP) has been selected for the 11th cohort of the eCommerce North Tech Accelerator, powered by Elevate and Moneris. Pocket TP is one of eight startups in the cohort, and the only pre-seed startup selected from 1,200 applications.

What is the eCommerce North Accelerator?

The eCommerce North Tech Accelerator is a 3-month, equity-free program for Canadian commerce, retail tech, data and merchant solutions startups, powered by Elevate and Moneris. Over three months, founders get: • Mentorship from experienced operators • Technical support • Pathways to corporate partnerships • Direct access to Canada's top investor networks The program celebrates its fifth anniversary this year. Moneris is the lead corporate partner, The Globe and Mail is the official media partner, and the community partners include BetaKit, Startup Canada, OneEleven, VentureLab and the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA).

Why it matters: building the BPTech category

Pocket TP is pioneering BPTech, an AI-native business platform that turns backpackers, digital nomads and creators into travel agency owners. Starting a travel business usually takes capital, an office and hours of admin. Pocket TP removes all three, so creators can earn from their travel experience on the road and keep traveling.
